The Malone Lady Tigers fell short of a district championship Saturday night in Paxton, falling to the host Lady Bobcats 57-39.
The loss dropped Malone to 20-4 on the season.
Curteeona Brelove scored 25 points to lead Malone in the loss.
The Lady Tigers will go on the road Thursday to play Baker in the first round of the 1A state tournament.
