MARIANNA POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Marianna Police Department listed the following incidents for Jan. 11, the latest available report: One hospice death, one suspicious person, two funeral escorts, two burglary complaints, one verbal disturbance, one burglary complaint, 11 traffic stops, one noise disturbance, one animal complaint, one public service call, one threat/harassment complaint.

JACKSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and county Fire/Rescue reported the following incidents for Jan. 11, the latest available report. (Some of these calls may be related to after-hours calls taken on behalf of Graceville and Cottondale Police Departments): One drunk pedestrian, two abandoned vehicles, two suspicious vehicles, two suspicious incidents, one funeral escort, one highway obstruction, three mental illness calls, one verbal disturbance, one police response to a fire, one residential single fire, 12 medical calls, one traffic crash, one report of a shooting in the area, eight traffic stops, one larceny complaint, two trespassing complaints, three animal complaints, two assists of another agency, one transport, one threat/harassment complaint.

JACKSON COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

The following persons were booked into the county jail during the latest reporting periods:

  • Frank Collins, 26, 2627 Mashburn Road, Marianna, breach of peace.
  • James Blount, 3070 Carters Mill Road, Marianna, violation of county probation.
  • Tyler Denhan, 18, 1000 Francis Mill Road, Ohatchee, Ala., possession of marijuana under 20, possession of alcohol by minor.
