MARIANNA POLICE

The Marianna Police Department listed the following incidents for Feb. 21, the latest available report: One accident with no injury, one suspicious vehicle, one suspicious person, three verbal disturbances, one burglar alarm, 15 traffic stops, one larceny complaint, one criminal mischief complaint, one illegally parked vehicle, one noise disturbance, two animal complaints, one assist of another agency and one public service call.

JACKSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and county Fire/Rescue reported the following incidents for Feb. 21, the latest available report. (Some of these calls may be related to after-hours calls taken on behalf of Graceville and Cottondale Police Departments): Two traffic accidents-one with entrapment, six abandoned vehicles, one reckless driver, six suspicious vehicles, three suspicious incidents, two suspicious persons, three highway obstructions, one report of mental illness, one structural burglary, two burglaries of vehicles, three fire calls, one prowler, 13 medical calls, two burglar alarms, 13 traffic stops, five larceny complaints, one criminal mischief complaint, two animal complaints, one assist of a motorist or pedestrian, two assists of other agencies, two public service calls, one transport, and one threat/harassment complaint.

JACKSON COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

The following persons were booked into the county jail during the latest reporting periods:

  • Scott Schreiber, 24, 3024 Five Points Road, Cottondale, hold for Bay Co.
  • Maurice Bennett, 25, 2406 Maybury Lane, Marianna, awaiting transport to DOC.
  • Gary Murphy, 31, 3070 Carters Mill Road, Marianna, awaiting transport to DOC.
  • Willie Wilson, 43, 1236 Clearview Lane, Graceville, hold for Keaton.
  • Joshua Blackman, 19, 2048 Rudd Road, Cottondale, possession of marijuana-less than 20 grams.
