The Marianna Police Department listed the following incidents for Feb. 19, the latest available report: One suspicious vehicle, five suspicious persons, one escort, two highway obstructions, one report of illness, three verbal disturbances, one burglar alarm, two power lines down, six traffic stops, one suicide attempt, two assists of other agencies, five public service calls, one patrol request and one open door or window discovered.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and county Fire/Rescue reported the following incidents for Feb. 19, the latest available report. (Some of these calls may be related to after-hours calls taken on behalf of Graceville and Cottondale Police Departments): One drunk pedestrian, seven abandoned vehicles, four suspicious vehicles, two suspicious incidents, three suspicious persons, one escort, three highway obstructions, one report of mental illness, one verbal disturbance, two hitchhiker/pedestrian assists, three fire calls, three power lines down, 22 medical calls, four burglar alarms, five traffic stops, two larceny complaints, two criminal mischief complaints, two civil disputes, one noise disturbance, four animal complaints, two assists of motorists or pedestrians, one assist of another agency, two public service calls, one transport and three threat/harassment complaints.
JACKSON COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY
The following persons were booked into the county jail during the latest reporting periods:
- Andre Cooper, 42, 2712 Front St., Cottondale, sexual battery.
- Judy McClellan, 40, 6933 Illinois St., Grand Ridge, violation of state probation (possession of cocaine).
- Omar Sales, 24, 5139 12th Ave., Malone, driving under the influence with property damage, obstruction by disguise, no valid driver’s license.
- Christine Newton, 20, 2933 Milton Ave., Marianna, violation of county probation.
- Sidney Lacey, 24, 3670 Weoka Road, Wetumpka, Ala., no driver’s license.
