MARIANNA POLICE

The Marianna Police Department listed the following incidents for Feb. 9, the latest available report: Three suspicious vehicles, three suspicious incidents, one suspicious person, one burglar alarm, 15 traffic stops, one civil dispute, two follow-up investigations, one juvenile complaint, two animal complaints, and two public service calls.

JACKSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and county Fire/Rescue reported the following incidents for Feb. 9, the latest available report. (Some of these calls may be related to after-hours calls taken on behalf of Graceville and Cottondale Police Departments): Two drunk drivers, five abandoned vehicles, one reckless driver, three suspicious incidents, three suspicious persons, one special detail, one physical disturbance, one fire call, 17 medical calls, one traffic crash, four burglar alarms, six traffic stops, one drag racing complaint, one criminal mischief complaint, one trespass complaint, one assault, one suicide attempt, one animal complaint, one retail theft, and three transports.

JACKSON COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

The following persons were booked into the county jail during the latest reporting periods:

  • Thomas Sylvester, 29, 4323 Woodberry Road, Marianna, tampering with evidence, possession of marijuana under 20 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Samuel Gibson, 30, 4112 Cedar St., Marianna, violation of county probation.
  • Kristan Williford, 21, 614 Dowling Drive, Marianna, retail theft.
  • Chelsea Walker, 18, 614 Dowling Road, Marianna, retail theft.
