Jackson County police logs for Feb. 7

MARIANNA POLICE

The Marianna Police Department listed the following incidents for Feb. 7, the latest available report: One drunk driver, one accident with no injury, two suspicious persons, one escort, one highway obstruction, one burglar of a vehicle, 10 traffic stops, one assist of another agency, three public service calls and one forgery/worthless check.

JACKSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and county Fire/Rescue reported the following incidents for Feb. 7, the latest available report. (Some of these calls may be related to after-hours calls taken on behalf of Graceville and Cottondale Police departments): One drunk pedestrian, three abandoned vehicles, one suspicious vehicle, one suspicious incident, one escort, two highway obstructions, one verbal disturbance, one fire with police response, two woodland fire calls, 11 medical calls, two traffic crashes, two fire alarms, nine traffic stops, four larceny complaints, one trespass complaint, one assault, three animal complaints, one fraud complaint, two public service calls, one transport and two threat/harassment complaints.

JACKSON COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

The following persons were booked into the county jail during the latest reporting periods:

  • Laron Holland, 26, 2005 Tanner Road, Marianna, hold for Calhoun Co.
  • Kenneth Cropper, 50, 616 Calvin Ave., Orlando, hold for another agency.
  • Dakota Brown, 20, 2365 Lawrence Road, Cypress, worthless checks.
  • Sylvia Hicks, 43, 6203 Highway 2, Bascom, uttering a forged instrument, grand theft.
  • Justin Glenn, 28, 4372 Kelly Ave., Marianna, violation of state probation (intent to distribute marijuana).
  • Sammy Gay, 34, 2964 Hillcrest St., Marianna, violation of county probation (driving while license suspended/revoked).
