MARIANNA POLICE

The Marianna Police Department listed the following incidents for Jan. 7, the latest available report: One accident without injury, one stolen vehicle, two reckless drivers, five suspicious persons, two funeral escorts, one burglary, three vehicle burglaries, five verbal disturbances, three burglar alarms, 27 traffic stops, two larcenies, one criminal mischief complaint, one trespassing complaint, one obscene or threatening calls, one found or abandoned property, two follow up investigations, two juvenile complaints, one assault, two dog complaints, two frauds, two assists of other agencies, eight public service calls and one patrol request.

JACKSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and county Fire/Rescue reported the following incidents for Jan. 7, the latest available report (Some of these calls may be related to after-hours calls taken on behalf of Graceville and Cottondale Police Departments): One stolen vehicle, 12 abandoned vehicles, one reckless driver, eight suspicious vehicles, two suspicious incidents, two suspicious persons, three funeral escorts, one mental illness case, four burglaries, one physical disturbance, one verbal disturbance, one woodland fire, one vehicle fire, one drug offense, 25 medical calls, six burglar alarms, 24 traffic stops, one larceny, three criminal mischief complaints, 11 papers served, four civil disputes, five trespassing complaints, two follow up investigations, one juvenile complaint, one assault, one suicide or attempt, one cow complaint, one car in a ditch, one fraud, one assist of other agency, two child abuse reports, 19 public service calls, seven transports, five threat/harassment complaints, and two VIN verifications.

JACKSON COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

The following persons were booked into the county jail during the latest reporting period:

Kenneth Henke, 78, 2374 S.E. Manor Ave., Port St. Lucie, DUI.

Cassandra White, 28, 1999 O’Hara Ave., Sneads, sentenced to 60 days.

Timothy Bontrager, 48, 3025 State Correctional Road, Marianna, hold for Calhoun County.

Christopher Klingensmith, 26, 3979 Eden Road, Longwood, possession of cocaine, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia.

– Aucilla Bass, 35, 5302 12th St., Malone, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Mercedes Smith, 20, 4564 Dickens Road, Greenwood, grand theft, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Terry Thomas, 21, 5858 Panda Lane, Bascom, resisting without violence, possession of firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a concealed firearm, possession of a firearm with altered serial number, fugitive from justice in Georgia.

Jason Thomas, 18, 5181 Marcus Drive, Greenwood, possession of a concealed firearm, possession of a firearm with altered serial number.

Quinton Dixon, 22, 6657 Kirkland Road, Bascom, possession of a concealed firearm, possession of a firearm with altered serial number.

Vincent Gardner, 43, 2863 Pontiac Loop, Cottondale, criminal mischief under $200, criminal mischief over $200.

– Skyler Faust, 19, 2911 Wildwood Circle, Marianna, attempted burglary of a dwelling, burglary of a dwelling, grand theft.

Ronald Grant, 23, 1788 Highway 73, Marianna, DUI, possession of less than 20 grams of, possession of a controlled substance, possession of prescription medicine without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mercedes Smith, 20, 4564 Dickson Road, Greenwood, burglary of dwelling, grand theft.

Tameka Williams, 22, 4367 Kent Drive, Marianna, fleeing or attempting to elude.

Leroy Ferguson, 33, 6275 Hartsfield Road, Greenwood, worthless checks.
