MARIANNA POLICE
The Marianna Police Department listed the following incidents for Sept. 15, the latest available report: One dead person (natural causes), one suspicious vehicle, three suspicious persons, one road obstruction, one burglary of a business, one burglary of a residence, four disturbances, two burglar alarms, one larceny complaint, one vandalism complaint, one trespassing complaint, one fight in progress reported, three animal complaints, two assists of other agencies, one threat, one warrant served, two traffic stops and one disabled vehicle reported.

JACKSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office listed the following incidents for Sept. 15, the latest available report: One abandoned vehicle, one alarm, two animal control complaints, two assists of other agencies, two burglaries, three criminal registrations, one criminal mischief complaint, five disturbances, one drag-racing complaint, one drug investigation, two escorts, three larceny complaints, one noise complaint, one prowler, eight public service calls, four suspicious incidents, two transports, one violation of injunction and three warrant arrests.

The following people were booked into the county jail during the latest reporting periods:
– Jennifer Staley, 27, 4126 North St., Marianna, aggravated assault, disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest without violence.
– Courtney Bright, 23, 2994 Jefferson St., Marianna, dealing in stolen property.
– Lionel Williams, 37, 5068 Fort Road, Greenwood, hold for Martin County.
– Frederica Hill, 41, 2095 Taylor Road, Cottondale, Medicaid provider fraud, organized fraud, communications fraud, grand theft, neglect of elderly or disabled adult, conspiracy to commit Medicaid provider fraud.
– Larry Hill, 41, 2095 Taylor Road, Cottondale, Medicaid provider fraud, conspiracy to commit Medicaid fraud.
– Scott Bradley, 42, 3822 Whispering Pines, Greenwood, possession of controlled substance.
– Brenda Major, 41, 4331 4th Ave., Marianna, possession of controlled substance.
– Victor Weatherington, 45, 1328 Singletary Road, Slocomb, Ala., aggravated assault with a firearm.
– Josh Patrick, 34, 5959 100 Acre Trail, Marianna, driving while license suspended/revoked (habitual offender).
