Alford man dies in wreck

An Alford man died in a one-vehicle crash early Sunday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 51-year-old Ricky Lamar Hagans was northbound on Lakepoint Road in a Ford pick-up truck when he lost control of the vehicle in a curve.
The truck left the road and struck a tree near the shoulder around 12:20 a.m., according to reports.
Hagans had no passengers in his vehicle.
