Chipola men win, women fall
The Chipola Indians defeated Pensacola 77-73 on Monday night in Pensacola.

Marianna wins over Grand Ridge

Lady Bulldogs win home opener
The Marianna Lady Bulldogs softball team opened their season at home against the Port St. Joe Lady Sharks with a solid 7-1 victory, behind the pitching of Hali Stout.

Chipola playoff hopes end
The Chipola men’s and women’s teams were both eliminated from postseason play Saturday night against Gulf Coast. It marks the first time in eight years Chipola will not be represented in the state tournament.

Sauls powers Chipola past Wallace
Eric Sauls homered and drove in four runs Thursday to lead the No. 3 Chipola Indians to a 9-4 victory over Wallace-Dothan at Chipola Field.
Lady Indians on hot streak
After a rocky start, the Chipola Lady Indians softball team has now won 10 straight games.
Tigers look for repeat of ‘09
The Malone Tigers had a banner season in 2009, winning 16 games, their third straight district championship, and making it all the way to the 1A regional finals before losing to Eagle’s View.
Graceville wins district
The Graceville Tigers beat Blountstown 57-53 in overtime Saturday night to take the District 2-2A championship in Blountstown.

Malone falls to FAMU in title game
The Malone Tigers saw history repeat itself Friday night in Tallahassee, falling to the FAMU Baby Rattlers 51-45 in the district championship game.
Tigers eliminate Sneads 78-73
BLOUNTSTOWN — Cameron Dozier scored 12 of his game-high 27 points in the fourth period Friday night to lead the Graceville Tigers to a 78-73 win over Sneads in the district tournament semifinals.
BHS upsets Hornets 60-55
BLOUNTSTOWN — The Blountstown Tigers got up big, then withstood a furious rally by Cottondale late to knock off the top-seeded Hornets 60-55 in the district tournament semifinals.
Bulldogs pull through
The Marianna Bulldogs got a bit of a scare in the second half, but the top-seeded team in District 1-3A pulled through Saturday night with a 50-42 win over the Arnold Marlins.

CHS moves on
