Rain, hail and high winds struck parts of Marianna and Jackson County Saturday afternoon.

A strong thunderstorm passed through Marianna Thursday afternoon, flooding roads and several funnel clouds in southern Jackson County.

As much as flooding poses a threat to those living by the Chipola River his week, wind, rain and hail could pose an even greater threat Thursday and Friday.

Jackson County Emergency Management officials said Friday a dock at Compass Lake was damaged earlier in the day.
