The Grand Ridge Indians boys basketball team’s struggles continued Tuesday night as the “A” team fell to Bonifay at home 37-21.

The Grand Ridge Lady Indians girls basketball team finished their regular season Thursday with a 29-18 win over the Chipley Rouhlac Lady Tigers.

The Grand Ridge Lady Indians basketball “A” team picked up another victory Monday night on their home court. The Lady Indians had to come from behind a first quarter deficit to pick up the 26-21 win over the Chipley Roulhac Lady Tigers.

The Grand Ridge Middle School Lady Indians basketball team improved their record on Thursday evening at the expense of the Graceville Lady Tigers.

The Grand Ridge O-Zone All-Stars earned a chance at a District 5 Tournament title with a 7-2 win over Liberty County Wednesday night in Malone. Grand Ridge was set to face Malone Thursday night in the championship game. 

The Grand Ridge AAA All-Stars were defeated by Blountstown Wednesday night in the District 5 Tournament in Malone, falling 8-4 and ending their season.

Dixie Youth Softball Ponytail action was hot and heavy Tuesday night at Optimist Park, with three county teams taking the field hoping for a district championship.

District action continued in Malone Monday evening with games in both AAA and Ozone vying or a district championship.

The Grand Ridge AAA all-stars have been chosen and are reading for district play, set to begin later this month in Malone.

With the rain and weather knocking out two teams in a four-team tournament, it was the Marianna Stars who walked away with first place in Grand Ridge this past weekend, with an 11-5 win in six innings in Game One and 14-0 in Game Two.
