The Marianna Optimist Club hosted its golf tournament Saturday at Indian Springs Golf Course with participants from 7 to 16 years of age competing for the top spot in their division.  The golfers competed in a nine-hole tournament.

The Marianna High School Bulldogs golf team fell short of their first win, with a loss to Walton at Indian Springs Thursday afternoon.

After 66 years of existence, the Baptist College of Florida in Graceville is joining the ranks of intercollegiate athletics.
