rooster actually Junior Bush did more to do away with our constutional rights then any president in history
under bush we lost our freedom of association, freedom of assembly, under bush we lost our free speech, by having them declearing free speech zones when he is on his travels, violated our 4th admendment by wiretapping on united states citizens for what ever reason they want
about the only right that bush did not take away for us is our right to bear arms, but they now can check your records and see how many guns you have with even looking if they want
I’m ok with people having guns but they need to be trained how to use them phisically and emotionally.

and all of you do not compline about my spelling when some of yours are worst

Very well written Rooster!  I wish I had the gift of effective and persuasive communication that you possess. I can see you are not drinking the koolaid.  Altha2008 I also should be more careful with my words.  I simply believe that the very tools that have helped us gain our freedom should not be attacked.  Guns helped make it possible for you to be free to speak your opinions.  Well I gotta run. Going to see the Gunsmith. Honestly!

LOL, that’s funny.
No excuse is needed. While I respect the views of others and support the right to express those views, I find it sad that someone like Altha2008 has such a blatant disregard for the constitution and the rights of others. While I might not agree or like what he or she might have to say, I would never suggest their right to free speech be taken away from them. This person however while exercising a Constutional Right chooses to question the very document that provides that right. This person at best, wants stricter laws to prevent firearms from falling into the hands of potentially dangerous individuals. The problem with this is that the more restrictions the government makes, the more it starts to infringe on our, us law abiding citizens, right to own firearms. Altha2008 seems to believe that we as gun owners plan on fighting the government if they choose to take away our right to bear arms. Well that is a possibility if it ever came to that I suppose. I do not pretend to be able to win a fight with the U.S. government, nor do I wish this to ever happen, but like Ben Franklin said, “those not willing to risk life for liberty deserve neither.“ I do not believe for one second it will ever come to that and I make no plans to do so, but what liberals need to realize is if consideration for their rights is to be made, they first need to respect the rights of others and agree that we might not always see eye to eye on certain issues, we must never take away each others constutional rights. A majority does not always determine what is right, for example, it is safe to say that most of the readers disagree with this persons views, however just because we could vote for this person not to have the right to express them does not make it right. Altha2008, you have the right to believe and say what you like. I apoligize for questioning your mental capacity however I took offense to being called an idiot. We disagree on a topic, that does not make either of us an idiot. I hope in the future we can express our opinions keeping in mind the principles this country was founded on.

Dear Rooster, Please excuse Altha2008 for being out of his mind this morning we dropped him on his head again.  Please send any homework with him this evening.

              Thanks, Altha2008 SR

Give it up already Altha2008.  I happen to like Altha people and they don’t need you representing them. Lay off our constitutional rights.

Altha, I almost decided to argue with you until I noticed that the person calling me an “ididt” lacked the mental capacity to spell even the most simple of words. Is “idiot” possibly the word you were trying to spell? Also, grammer and sentence structure are things you may want to look into before questioning the intelligence of others.

Altha2008, it is my right as an American to own a gun. Just as it is your right to free speech. Guns have never in the history of man killed anyone, people kill people. It has happened since long before guns were invented. Like Larry the Cable Guy said, “Blaming a gun for killing someone is like blaming my pencil for a misspelled word.“ But since you are so eager to take away the rights of others, let’s do away with the freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, the right to a fair trail, heck, lets do away with the whole bill of rights. Thomas Jefferson stated that the right to bear arms was for the people to have the ability to protect their rights from the government. If we take away our guns, a right, it only a small step from infringing on the other rights we hold so dear.

Outlaws and ......Nuts will get a gun ‘ANY’ time they want one! They should make it mandatory that every citizen own and train with a firearm. It would stop a lot of crime.

another reason we need more gun laws to get guns out of the hands of nutcases like this and the right wing nut cases around here
