Traffic stops end in drug charges

The Marianna Police Department arrested two out-of-towners on drug charges Friday, following a traffic stop.
Another traffic stop Thursday also yielded an arrest on drug charges.
Edward Morris, 34, of Panama City, was charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. The driver of the vehicle, Marry Ann Davis, 21, of Fountain, was charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The two were traveling on Pennsylvania Avenue when they were stopped for a traffic infraction. The drugs were found after a drug dog was brought in, according to police.
On Thursday, Marianna police Department arrested Benjamin Lucas Curry, 29, of8 Ponce De Leon, on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of listed chemicals for the manufacture of methamphetamine.
Curry was pulled over on a traffic stop, and a drug dog was brought in and alerted to drugs being in the vehicle, according to police.
