Police are searching for the suspects who tried to break into Kelson Drugs some time between Sunday night and Monday morning, according to the Marianna Police Department.
Employees at the store on North Jefferson Street reported the attempt Monday, saying it appeared the would-be burglar tried to get in via the outside duct work of the store’s air conditioning unit. The AC system was damaged, to the tune of about $250, but entry was never made and nothing was taken from the store.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 526-5000, or the police department at 526-3125. Callers can remain anonymous, and a cash reward is available for information that leads to any arrests.
