MARIANNA POLICE
The Marianna Police Department listed the following incidents for Nov. 2, the latest available report: One traffic accident, two suspicious persons, one highway obstruction, one report of illness, one burglary of a vehicle, two larceny complaints, one animal complaint, six public service calls, three worthless checks, one warrant served, one 911 hang-up and nine traffic stops.

JACKSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office listed the following incidents for Nov. 2, the latest available report: Two abandoned vehicles, two alarms, one assault, one bomb threat, one civil dispute, two criminal registrations, one criminal mischief complaint, one disabled vehicle, three disturbances, one flim-flam incident, one noise complaint, one escort, two public service calls, three suspicious incidents, one theft of property/services, two traffic accidents, four traffic stops, two prisoner transports, one trespassing complaint, three warrant arrests and one gang-related incident.

JACKSON COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY
The following people were booked into the county jail during the latest reporting periods:
– Norquekes Calhoun, 19, 6295 Hartsfield Road, Greenwood, sentenced to 180 days.
– Vernon Hill, 74, 5979 Fort Road, Greenwood, violation of conditional release.
– Glenn Arnold, 33, 3278 Azalea Road, Marianna, worthless checks.
– Gracey Massey, 44, 2737 Penn Ave., Marianna, hold for court, hold for Dept. of Corrections.
– Michael Anderson, 26, 2870 Penn Ave., Marianna, violation of state probation.
– Earl Smith, 24, 4158 Bumpnose Road, Marianna, knowingly driving while license suspended/revoked.
– James Durden, 29, 3234 Boles Road, Vernon, failure to appear, hold for Holmes County.
– Noah Johnson, 25, 7053 Providence Church Road, Grand Ridge, attempted manufacture of controlled substance (methamphetamine).
