Man held for child porn on cell phone

A Cottondale man was arrested late last week after pornographic images of a female child were found on his cell phone, according to a press release from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Jimmy Ray Worley, 33, was charged with three counts each of cruelty towards a child and the possession of obscene material, according to the press release.
He was being held at the Washington County Jail on a $60,000 bond, authorities reported in a press release.
Authorities say Worley allegedly took the pictures himself.
The sheriff’s office described him as the child’s caregiver.
