PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (AP) - The nation’s economy has rocked a Panhandle condominium and town home development with ties to country music star Alan Jackson.
Developers of the 14.5 acre Panama City Beach project say it has put the development on hold until market conditions improve.
Jackson, known for hits including “Don’t Rock the Jukebox,“ made an appearance at the 2006 groundbreaking for the La Borgata development and appears on a billboard for the project.
Ronnie Gilley Properties says it doesn’t plan to sell the property but will wait and see what happens with the regional market.
