Steve and Barbara Taylor are proud to announce the marriage of their daughter, Melissa Taylor, to Ray Robles. The couple exchanged wedding vows in front of family and friends on May 16, 2009, at 6:30 p.m. The setting was a beach wedding at the Driftwood Inn, Mexico Beach. The couple was attended by the bride’s sister, Laura Taylor and the groom’s brother, Randy Robles. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Steve Taylor.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Barbara Taylor of Marianna. The bride is the granddaughter of Betty Williams and James Williams, and Annette and James Taylor.

The groom is the son of Luis and Altagracia Robles of the Dominican Republic. The groom is the grandson of Adelina Marcano.

The bride is a graduate of the Florida State University College of Nursing in Tallahassee, with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse with Regional Hospital of Jackson. The groom is a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University of Henderson, Tenn., with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is employed as a financial service representative with Regions Bank. The couple lives in Jackson, Tenn.
