Schumaker, Miles

Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Schumaker of Dothan, Ala. announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Nicole Schumaker, to Jonathan Gerald Miles, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Rogers of Headland, and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Miles of Graceville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clinton B. Tolar of Dothan, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Keith Schumaker of Albuquerque, N.M.
Miss Schumaker is a 2005 graduate of Northview High School and will graduate from Auburn University in December with a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. O.S. Miles of Graceville, and Ms. Pat Gilbert and the late Earl Gilbert of Chipley.
Mr. Miles is a 2002 graduate of Northside Methodist Academy. He is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in building construction. He is employed by KBR in Birmingham, Ala.
The wedding is planned for 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, at the Covenant United Methodist Church in Dothan. A reception will follow immediately after the ceremony at the Gathering Place in Headland. All friends and family are invited.
