The wedding of Jacqueline V. Keith and Heath S. Rickmond was Saturday, May 23, 2009. The double-ring ceremony took place at 5 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Marianna. The welcome was given by Mr. James Hollis, Seaford, Del., and the officiates were the Revs. Brandon Griffin, Marianna, and Greg Gilbert, Washington, D.C. The charge was given by Mr. and Mrs. Brad Thayer.
Miss Stephanie Keith, sister of the bride, Louisville, Ky., was maid of honor and Mrs. Kelly Beach, Winston, Ga., friend of the bride, was matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Moriah Gilbert, Washington, D.C, Mrs. Averi Garcia, Marianna, Mrs. Cari Vincent, Clewiston, Mrs. Jennifer Morrell and Miss Chandler Hinkson, both of Louisville. The flower girl was Miss Kaylen Vincent of Tallahassee.
Serving the groom as best man was his father, Mr. C.B. Rickmond of Appomattox, Va. Groomsmen were Mr. James Hollis, Seaford, De., Mr. Timothy Hawkins, Springfield, Ky., Mr. William Thomas, Powhatan, Va., Mr. Jeff Scoggs, Elizabethtown, Ky., Mr. Sean Robinson, Muncie, Ind., and Mr. Jason Cox, Louisville. The ring bearer was Master Justin Gilbert of Washington, D.C.
Ushers were Mr. Doug Gwaltney, Atlanta, Mr. Jacob Pooser, Tallahassee, Mr. Jeff Richardson, Pamplin, Va., and Mr. Ryan Schuck, Richmond, Ind.
The music was provided by Mr. Kurt McInnis on guitar, Mrs. Lori McInnis on piano and organ, of Chipley, and Ms. Haley Emanuel, soloist, from Cottondale.
The wedding was directed by Amanda Shores, Marianna.
The reception was held at the Jackson County Ag Center on Penn Avenue.
Jacqueline is the daughter of Mrs. Diane Keith and Mr. William A. Keith, both of Marianna, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William N. “Bill” Keith of Marianna and Mrs. Virginia Liedle and the late Allen Liedle of Rapid City, S.D. She is a 1998 graduate of Marianna High School. She received her B.Sc. in social work from FSU in 2002 and her M.Sc. in social work from the University of Louisville in 2008. She is employed with Home of the Innocents.
Heath is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Rickmond Jr., of Appomattox, and the grandson of Mrs. Frances Rickmond and the late Cecil Rickmond Sr. of Saxe, Va., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Martin Sr. of Appomattox. He is a 1996 graduate of Appomattox County High School, and received a B.Sc. in biblical studies from Liberty University. He received an Adv. M.Div. in theological studies from Southern Seminary and will receive his Ph.D. in systematic theology from Southern Seminary in December 2009. Heath is a pastor with the Gospel Avenue Church in Richmond, as well as an adjunct professor with Liberty University.
After a honeymoon cruise in the Caribbean, the couple has set up residence in Louisville.
