Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jack Kapphan and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Blaine Price, both of Tuscaloosa, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Hayley Palma Kapphan of Birmingham, Ala., to Brandon Mulford Marsh of Birmingham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Scott Marsh of Marianna.
The wedding is planned for Nov. 14 at The Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Norwood Eatman of Tuscaloosa, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lorraine Kapphan of Fort Myers. She is a 2000 graduate of Central High School and attended Auburn University, where she received a degree in communication disorders. She is a member of Kappa Delta sorority and was presented at the 2003 Tuscaloosa Holiday Cotillion. She is employed by Docupak as an account executive.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mrs. Maude Ellen Avinger of Marianna, and the late Mr. Charles Brownley Avinger of Jacksonville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mulford Marsh of Killeen, Texas. He is a 1998 graduate of Marianna High School and attended The University of the Cumberlands, where he received a degree in business administration. He lettered four years on the University of the Cumberlands football team. He is employed by BBVA Compass as assistant vice president in the investment banking division.
