Jones-Folsom engagement announcement

Mr. and Mrs. Bruce L. Taylor of Marianna are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ciara Teresa Jones, to James Ryan Folsom, son of Kenneth and Elaine Folsom of Marianna and Robbie and Donna Taylor of Grand Ridge.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Toss and the late Robert McNeal of Malone, Faye and the late Charles Jones of Malone, the late Hartwell Taylor of Malone, and Mary Alice Christmas of Cottondale.
Ciara is a 2003 graduate of Marianna High School and a 2005 graduate of Chipola College. She is currently attending Wallace Community College, pursuing an associate’s degree in nursing. She is employed at Eye Center South in Dothan, Ala.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Dolores Folsom and the late Odell Folsom of Marianna, the late Rev. and Mrs. Shelby Parmer of Marianna, Betty Ham of Grand Ridge, and Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Wilson of Cantonment.
Ryan is a 2002 graduate of Marianna High School, a 2004 graduate of Chipola College and a 2008 graduate of Florida A&M University, where he received his Doctorate of Pharmacy. He is currently employed with Kmart pharmacy in Dothan.
The wedding will take place Aug. 15, 2009, at 6 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Marianna. A reception at the National Guard Armory will immediately follow the ceremony. No local invitations will be sent. All friends and family of the couple are invited to attend.
